A Blue Night Flight

Planes approaching National Airport. The buildings on the right side of the photo are the Rosslyn area of Arlington, Virginia. During the 6 second exposure, the plane on the right was coming essentially at my, creating a single point of light (rather than a streak). The resulting RAW photo was very noisy so I had to change the exposure, shadows, and contrast which resulted in a very dark and blue night shot.

Music: When I think night and blue I have two very different sounds in my head. One is Blue Rondo a la Turk by the Dave Brubeck Quartet while the other is Electro Glide in Blue by Apollo 440
